U19 MLS Next Post Season Rankings
The U19 season has finally concluded with the best squads ending their season in Nashville. We have comprised a list of the ten best squads from all season long, and here is a list of our final ranking.

1. LA Galaxy
The LA Galaxy have just pulled off an unprecedented third straight MLS Next Cup victory. It would feel wrong to not rank the National Champions at number one. Their squad is headlined by Dylan Vanney who plays the ten as well as other special players like Owen Pratt in goal and Enrique Martinez in the back four.
2. Orlando City
Orlando City were odds on favorites to win the MLS Next Cup the entire season. In fact, they did not lose a single game until the spring season. Undoubtedly the most talented squad in the country with three U19 USYNT players, and on top of that they have the 2025 Ga Cup MVP. Orlando were knocked out of MLS Next Cup by Cedar Stars.
We were on site to watch Inter Miami Vs New York Red Bulls U16s. Check It Out HERE!!!
3. Real Salt Lake
Real Salt Lake was one of the best squads in the country for the entire season. RSL made it all the way to the MLS Next Cup semifinals before falling to eventually champions LA Galaxy. They boasted one of the best front lines in the country with Diego Rocio, Grayson Carter, and Jack Ottley.
4. Toronto FC
Toronto FC is a team that is not talked about enough, but they are incredibly talented. The entire academy has really taken a step up in recent years, and they have had a few strong showings at Ga Cup.
5. Cedar Stars Bergen
The first non-MLS academy to crack our top 10 are the Cedar Stars. They marched all the way to the MLS Next cup final eliminating multiple MLS academy squads on the way including our number 2 the Philadelphia Union. This squad also made it to the U19 MLS Next Cup final last season. A phenomenal achievement.
6. Philadelphia Union
The Union have probably been the best academy squad for the last couple years, but the reality is that many of their top 2007s, 2008s, and even 2009s have graduated past the academy level. Neil Pierre, Cavan Sullivan, Diego Rocio, and Anisse Saidi have all moved on from this squad and it is noticeable. They still have arguably the best front three in the country though with Kellan LeBlanc, Jamir Johnson, and Malik Jakupovic.
7. New York Red Bulls
The Red Bulls are in a very similar situation to the Philadelphia Union. Their top players have already graduated past the academy level. The likes of Tanner Rosobrough and Julian Hall first come to mind, but nonetheless, they still have a solid squad.
8. Colorado Rapids
While the Rapids did not have the greatest MLS Next Cup performance of all time, but their play in MLS Next’s regular season and Ga Cup cannot be overlooked. The Rapids made it all the way to the Ga Cup final, and were missing some key pieces at MLS Next Cup.
9. Sockers FC
Sockers FC had one of the most impressive seasons a non-MLS academy squad has had in the entire history of MLS Next. Sockers FC qualified for Generation adidas Cup at MLS Next Fest, and had a strong showing. They also lost to eventual finalists Cedar Stars at MLS Next Cup.
10. Portland Timbers
The Portland Timbers are rounding out this top ten. One of the most solid squads all year, but were given tough draws at the major tournaments. The Portland Timbers have some of the top players in the country, and this lands them at number 10.
